We stayed in the old town at a lovley apartment on a very quiet street up near the Saint George's gate, for 3 nights before our last trip to Tilos. Fantastic sights and we will do it every time we are back in Rhodes.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08368160895567914428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4549687624161040763.post-78643418303008233362016-04-27T22:11:03.275+03:002016-04-27T22:11:03.275+03:00Sorry, it's taking me forever to finish the ne...Sorry, it's taking me forever to finish the next blogs...! I feel as though I have lived in Tilos myself. Walked the same paths, smelt the herbs and met the locals! But I do feel for your sadness for family plans having had exactly the same problem myself. But it was so good to find out how you had got Lisa, she sounds such a fantastic dog, and from your photos on your blog she is definitely not beige!Gillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00322140697547406511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4549687624161040763.post-62289084593095179732016-04-22T16:57:48.698+03:002016-04-22T16:57:48.698+03:00Ah, thank you! Wandering back to our car parked out in the new town was a strange experience. The 'old' streets were empty, quiet and many in darkness. It was quite surreal and I felt, somewhat spooky, was unforgettable.
Looking forward to reading about your road trip round the island. Let's hope you drove very slowly, like real tourists, otherwise it might have been over far too quickly! 6 days for me to be doing my best to be unlike a tourist.

VickiAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4549687624161040763.post-21566465246375158272016-04-19T13:05:12.982+03:002016-04-19T13:05:12.982+03:00Thank you!
